Rules and Procedures
We follow YEP standard rules and procedures and attend the international and national meetings,
conferences and conventions in order to keep ourselves updated and in constant contact with our
partners, besides searching for new ones.
Insurance
Inbound students to our district must carry adequate insurance which meets the Rotary International's
minimum. Students are requested to have in hand at least the phone number of the insurance company's
office in our country.
Trips
Our inbound students may travel with their host families and are allowed to travel with two Brazilian
travel agencies, Terra Brasil and
Belo Tour,
specialized in organizing trips around Brazil for exchange students.
Guidance
Our candidates are selected through written tests, are interviewed by our team members and are evaluated
by a psicologist. We hold regular guidance meetings throughout the year when we offer opportunities for
the inbound students to understand the district rules, to clarify possible doubts, to get to know the
District Chairperson and his/her team, their fellow exchange students and the outbound students who
receive their guidance at the same time.
Our outbound students receive instructions and become aware of the challenge they are about to face
through activities developed and applied by our team with the effective support of a psychologist.
